Description

Lindström’s  RX7893 Short Chain Nose Pliers are precision tools for general use. Smooth jaws are 0.79” long and taper down from 0.234” to 0.030”. Lindström uses 1% carbon/chrome ball-bearing-grade steel in manufacturing their top-of-the-line Rx series Pliers. Computer-controlled grinding of forged blanks guarantees accuracy and precise jaw alignment which increases tool reliability and consistency. Precision induction hardening provides high Rockwell hardness (42-46HRC) without brittleness, increasing tool life. Like all Rx Series Lindström pliers, ESD-safe grips are slightly rounded and wide for optimal surface distribution and contact. Rx pliers also feature Lindström’s exclusive, patent-pending BioSpring that keeps its tension minimal and limited throughout its range of compression. Spring tension is also adjustable, and the spring is removable.
