Combining the best features of all previous types of Art Clay, the New Art Clay Silver Formula replaces Original Formula, 650 Low Fire, and Slow Dry Art Clays. The new formula offers improved workability and longer working times than the previous formulas. And pricing has not changed. Here are some other features of the New Art Clay Silver Formula:

• Similar drying times as original and 650 formulas (using applied heat)
• Only 8-9% shrinkage
• Easier carving and filing in the dry stage
• Quicker and simpler reconstitution from dried clay; formulated to absorb moisture well
• Fires similarly to 650 formula (30 minutes at 1200°F, on a continuum to only 5 minutes at or above 1472°F)
• High quality finishing and shine

As before, New Art Clay Silver Formula has the same post-firing silver content of 99.9% fine silver. Available in 4 different sizes, each is packaged in a re-sealable Mylar pouch to retain moisture and ensure long life. Made in Japan.
