Description
Castaldo’s new Rapido Silicone is the fastest curing, heat vulcanized rubber for wax-injection production rubber molds. Cures in just 9 to 20 minutes, depending upon mold thickness, at only 200°F (93°C).
Use it to make powder-separation or hand-cut-separation molds. And, like all silicone rubbers, it’s easy to use and requires no release agents when de-molding.
- 1⁄4” (6 mm) thick mold 9 minutes
- 1⁄2” (12 mm) thick mold 10 minutes
- 3⁄4” (19 mm) thick mold 15 minutes
- 1″ (25 mm) thick mold 20 minutes
Rapido™ silicone strips are 1⁄4” thick x 2 7⁄8” wide x 18″ long. Sold in packages of 5 lbs. Made in USA.
