General Tools Adjustable File and Tool Handle

General Tools’ Adjustable File Handle accommodates a variety of Needle Files, Escapement Files, and Full Size Files. Wide, steel clamping jaws under spring tension are adjusted by turning the knob at the palm end of the handle. Files should be inserted into the handle as far as possible before clamping. The large knob makes it quick and easy to change files. When it’s time to discard a worn file, you still have a usable handle. Dimensions are 4-¹⁄₈ in. (L) x 1-¹⁄₁₆ in. (diameter). Not for use with 10” and 12” Full Size Files. Plastic construction with steel clamp, bezel, and knob. Made in China for General Tools.
