Also known as a Swage Block, this solid piece of case-hardened tool steel has been ground flat and polished smooth for use as a back plate or surface for a variety of metal forming and stamping tasks. Use it for flattening metal sheet or wire, as a support for texturing or forming, or for flaring rivets. Bench Blocks are essential tools at every metalworker’s bench.
