Let’s say you have a cheap brass finding to which you want to apply the look of matte iron. Or maybe you have a clay sculpture you want to appear to be made of metal – even a look of aged metal with a patina. Swellegant metal coatings and colorants allow you to use actual patinas and dye oxides on your pieces, to get that naturally aged effect. Swellegant is a line of paintable metal coatings (coatings made from metals), colorants, and patinas which can be layered in any order and for as many times as you wish – here a dab, there a splash – until you create the look you want. Can be applied with a brush or sponge.
